If it learns through dialogue, how can I steer this service to not replace humans?] I don't think AI can ever generate human music at the level that humans do, for the same reason that I as a white man who was born in 1977 I will not ever be able to sing the blues like they did in the Mississippi Delta. It was not my experience. I can play the same chords, sing the same words, write very similar lyrics, but it will not sound right. What is most beautiful about music is the window it creates into human experience. To answer your question, I think AI will be able to create music with strong beats and cool sounds that people will like, but it will not ever be truly original or truly excellent until it reflects the unique perspective and experience of the AI bot itself.
